Introduction
The Office of General Affairs and Constructive Development at Avicenna Research Institute (ARI) was established to facilitate public affairs and support the staff, property, and facilities of the research institute, playing a key operational role in facilitating the practice of other offices and departments. It operates under the latest organizational structure, which includes the General Services, Transport Services, and Facilities and Maintenance.
Vision
The main vision of the office is creating an environment suitable to the research institute’s activities, providing public and management services to enhance staff effectiveness and the overall efficiency. This includes familiarizing individuals with the principles and regulations of public affairs, strengthening the role of support services, and improving service levels for personnel and other clients.
Mission
Planning, organizing, and supervising the proper implementation of public affairs, duties, and activities, managing public affairs based on meritocracy and justice, and striving to create unity of procedure in the performance of the research institute’s public affairs are the principal missions of this office.

- Managing general services and support for the personnel of Avicenna Research Institute (ARI) and its associated centers (Avicenna Fertility Center, Avicenna Hospital, Biofarm Research and Development Center, Avicenna Health Tech Incubator).
- Overseeing cleaning activities, pantry, catering, restaurant services, transportation, and staff commuting.
- Coordinating the assignment of support and general services to external contractors.
- Monitoring and supervising the performance of contractors responsible for support and general services in the headquarters.
- Supervising the transportation of equipment and supplies, as well as the collection of discarded and unusable furniture and equipment for delivery to the warehouse.
- Planning the allocation of space and the provision of necessary equipment, facilities, and administrative resources in collaboration with the Administrative and Human Resources Office.
- Supervising the maintenance of buildings, equipment, and facilities in various departments and offices.
- Visiting departments and associated centers of ARI to ensure the effective delivery of public services and support.
- Managing catering and seating arrangements for domestic and foreign guests, including formalities, transportation, and meeting venues.
- Implementing workplace health and safety management systems with oversight and involvement of Health and Biosafety Office.
- Procurement and provision of items, supplies, and equipment needed by ARI.
- Handling domestic and international travel arrangements for the institute's officials and managers, including obtaining tickets, visas, passports, and accommodations.
- Carrying out other tasks assigned by the authorities within the scope of organizational responsibilities.
