The Education Deputy of Avicenna Research Institute has obtained the permission for establishing the vocational education and medical training from Ministry of Health and Medical Education in 2020.

The center has been launched for training skilled personnel in the field of health with emphasis on advanced practical and supplementary specialized training in order to improve the skills and professional capabilities and use the training capacity of faculty members of this research institute.

Skills and vocational training courses are held with the aim of acquiring or improving skills in a specific field or educating trainees of their professional responsibilities; therefore, these courses increase the job competence of the participants by teaching a set of skills related to a profession.
