Introduction

The Deputy of Education at Avicenna Research Institute, based on its Articles of Associations, tries to bridge the existing gaps and fulfil educational needs of research centers, research institutes, and universities. This is mainly possible through establishment and development of research centers as well as formulation and implementation of education plans, general and specialized training courses needed for the society.

In order to reach the goals in terms of training experts and efficient researchers in the field of new biotechnologies from the beginning of its establishment, education has always been of substantial concern and importance for the founders and managers of the institute, so that the necessary arrangements for planning, organizing, and promotion of educational activities have been devised in such a way that this path is geared towards purposeful destinations and growth; accordingly, the Education Deputy’s attempts have always been ancillary in research activities.

Our vision is to apply the efficient and effective capabilities in ARI and other research centers in order to promote knowledge and skill in the field of medical biotechnologies and extend scientific collaborations in national and international arena to train professional experts.

Main duties of the Deputy

  • Continuous collaboration with governmental and non-governmental organizations to satisfy educational requirements
  • Planning educational seminars in different subjects
  • Establishing contact with ACECR education offices to lay the ground for intersectional collaboration
  • Supervising the issuance of certificates at the end of training courses
  • Granting educational facilities to staff and researchers working in ARI and other research centers
  • Implementing educational policies and guidelines in the framework of ACECR long-term plan in different fields
  • Compiling and formulation of long and short term educational plans
  • Coordinating between educational activities and advertising and disseminating educational outcomes
  • Efforts to establish and develop specialized and advanced specialized training


پژوهشگاه فناوری های نوین علوم زیستی جهاد دانشگاهی - ابن سینا با هدف دستیابی به دانش فنی در زمینه فناوری‌های نوین زیستی از طریق انجام طرح‌های مطالعاتی و پژوهشی آزمایشگاهی و بالینی، از سال ۱۳۷۷ فعالیت خود را آغاز کرد.
